Don't bother. Look elsewhere. I lived in Decatur for a year and used their psychiatric services. The shrink is unprofessional, substandard, and apathetic. I tried to come in for treatment for anxiety, depression, and possibly ADHD. I was told that ADHD is "rare" in adults, so she wouldn't even test me for it, and then proceeded to throw a bunch of medication at me instead of listening to the problems I described to her. Every session was under 15 minutes because she didn't listen to me and didn't care. She just threw pills at me without trying to diagnose me or even just fine tune what kind of medication might work best, instead assuming that I was like every other patient she's obviously treated in the same way. What made me finally quit is I finished one prescription that I have to use in order to get to sleep and called to ask for a "meeting" so she would renew the prescription. Mind you, this is after my pharmacy tried more than once to reach her for refilling it before it ran out. I called the office five times in eight days. Only on the ninth day did they call me back to schedule a meeting so I could get the medication that I need. I went without sleep for FIFTEEN DAYS because she couldn't be bothered to call me back to schedule an appointment or just renew the prescription from the first date I called until she had "time" for an appointment. It is inexcusable to treat a patient dependent on medication for healthy sleep this way and I will not be back here ever again. I do not recommend anyone put themselves through working with this office given their incompetence and lack of professionalism.

I was a client at Recovery Consultants From March 2018 til March 2019, after going through the program I became employed there. The program helped me get my life back & I have 3yrs clean!!! Everyone there has a passion for life, they show you how to live one day at a time, I am so grateful for Recovery Consultants & look forward to working with them again in the future....
