I'm giving 2 stars because I just watched a nurse perform a covid test on my mother in law and she barely touched her nostrils! How do you expect to prevent the spread if you're not even actually testing your residents!! I work Healthcare and I KNOW how a covid test is supposed to be performed. That is NOT it. My mother in law seems happy, but this is unacceptable. As a medical professional you should strive for better. Sad. Just sad.

I did not care for this facility at all. From the time my Mom was admitted from a hospital transfer, it was not a good experience. Granted it was the end of March and the start of the pandemic, so that part I understand. I could not communicate with my Mom at all once she arrived there and she even had a cell phone. Communication to Regency and lack of response was most heartbreaking. Siblings outside of NJ and myself called constantly for information and my Mom's well being was unknown. Personally went over to the facility to find out why, and they talked about my Mom and how she was, and in no way did it sound like my Mom or her behavior. My Mother was there less than 4 days when I received a phone call that she passed. Requested medical records twice, finally received them and found out things I was not aware of or informed about. Very sad. Questioned Regency with numerous calls, no answers or information to this day. I will never understand the lack of compassion. And I have many unanswered questions and my heart is broken. The night I went to say my final goodbye, no one greeted us...we had to find a way to get into the building and find her room. I noticed none of my Mom's personal belongings never came out of her overnight bags...not a comb, toothbrush, or anything I packed for her....not even a card or note I wrote to her, was given to her or opened, why? I truly find it hard to understand and accept as to my Mom's passing and why. Last time I spoke with her we had a normal conversation was the afternoon she was leaving the hospital and being transferred to Regency. Her remaining days are unknown and my heart is broken. I truly do not know why she passed. She was my best friend. I am hoping someone from Regency will explain to me as to why my Mother died and why the silence regarding my phone calls and requests.

Most horrific place. My father died at this home. I was able to be by his bedside the last 3 days of his life and each time I came and they knew I was coming he was lying in a pool of pee. Soaked through his adult pad and sheets. Just sad. He had a bed sore that was like a cavern on his backside. Just sad. They were happy to take your money but when it came to care there was little to none. Place should be shut down. Do not put your love ones in this place. Still can't believe he had to die in such a horrible place.

If you care about your loved one DO NOT BRING them to this facility. This facility does not know how to care for their patients. My dad was left sitting in urine for hours. Nurses csnt even do basic nursing care. And as for communication I have never dealt with a facility as bad as this. We have been told for almost 2 weeks now that we will be updated by a doctor and we have yet to receive a call. They are never able to answer questions. You go to pick up dirty laundry and it takes forever for them to bring the clothes out. Just STAY far away from this facility.
