I have nothing but great things to say about the team that worked with me after my stroke. I know I will never be 100% to where I was before the stroke but I have come a long way. I walk without assistance (Kristen Z), my speech does not show that i had a stroke (Kelsey G), and I almost have proper use of my left arm, typing is still a bit of a struggle but I know when I make a mistake and can correct the typo's (Karen S). Emotionally, I was a wreck, but now have my depression in check (Doc O'conner). A big thank you to my team!!! I may stop by for a visit soon.

Amazing team! It’s frustrating relearning things... Rehab Without Walls, gives you the tools to cope with the changes. You will never be the same person. They are so positive and friendly through the process. They know what pace each person needs, and what level they are at. They explain things clearly so that someone that had aphasia (the loss to understand and speech) that's what I had, could pick it up again. From the driver that picks you up, the speech/physical therapist, to the front office, they drastically helped my cognitive rehabilitation.

I don't think RWW even deserves the 1 star I just gave them. BEWARE! RWW made several promises in which they never followed through on. These promises were made to me and my family when I interviewed them prior to selecting them. I am in the State VR program and needed to qualify for services. This process took several months and after that period, they tried to drop me. My doctors had to get involved. Once I qualified for services, they turned and said that they weren't going to provide me with any assistance in my return to work after promising me assistance with my interviewing, resume, cover letter, and sending an OT to help figure out the accommodations I would need. I was directed to other organizations that could help me publicly. Why go through this if they aren't going to do what they said they would do? Some of the staff members are rude and bullying. So wrong. There was a lot of staff changes which is not a good sign either. Feel free to contact me if you want any additional information about my experience. This is wrong and other patients should not be subject to this.

I started at RWW, it was swell until my insurance stopped paying, and I fought to get back into RWW, I had some brain surgeries, I was not able to get back until my brain healed from my infection, so I finally I got back into RWW. I have lost my speech completely and Karen Will has been phenomenal for me, now I communicate without any problems, Each discipline has helped me especially speech speec each discipline has helped me especially speech and physical, occupational, and Speech. I have a goal to get back into school, probably something like online but, I don’t think anyone would’ve thought about the progress I have made. Without them, I wouldn’t think about getting back to school. Thank you, Karen Will, Gus Vale, Karen (I don’t know her last name, but an OT therapist), Kristen Zevely (PT), and sorry for the other therapists. But, THANK YOU!!!
