Really had high hopes for this rehab after speaking w Brenda about the programs and services offered. However, when I went to the website, it didn't take long to notice how generic it was, and only having 2 pages, no matter what option you click on to, "learn more". After checking out the well known doctor and author listed on the website, Charles L. Whitfield, MD, I found that Dr. Whitfield passed away last year, and more specifically, after I spoke w Brenda, who was supposedly a staff member selling me on how great this place is. It's disheartening to find out the rehab facility I was so excited about checking myself into, isn't at all what I was told. At this point, I'm not sure if anything about this place is even legit.

I checked myself into recovery works in October of 2019 and it was the best decision of my life. The staff is incredible, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and they were there with me every step of my recovery. Great group sessions as well as one on one help and were willing to address any needs, problems, or questions I had on an individual basis. They also gave me enough freedom so that I never felt suffocated or as if I was trapped. I learned great life lessons as well including how to responsibly take care of myself. I shared an apartment with three other guys who I still stay in touch with today and consider dear friends. I highly recommend "Recovery Works," they saved my life! -Ryan R.

Major disappointment.. many promises made but not kept..I would not recommend this program to others.. once the month is over there is no communication whatsoever with the client …phone calls not returned, completely on your own. Basically useless waste of $.

I want to start by saying the the discovery house saved my sons life. The staff there was so helpful from the moment I spoke to them on the phone until the day my son came home. Brenda walked me through the process to get my son into the facility as quickly as possible, and Darrell took him in and immediately started helping him work through his path to recovery. They kept me updated on his progress, and I knew I could call and talk to either Darrell or Brenda at anytime with any questions that I might have had. They were a constant cheering team for my son, and have become his life long friends! They turned my helplessness into HOPE! My son is now back in his hometown living in a sober living house with other young men with the same struggles, using the tools that he was taught, going to his meetings and is living life as a sober young man! We will be forever grateful!
