Julia Levin1 StarI did not have a chance to experience the care RG is providing due to simple admission issues.
I was told that my mother will be able to enter a rehab after hospital stay, but it might take another week, which was fine, hospitals do not kick you out until you placed elsewhere. However, the same admission lady told me in a NOT very polite way that she never told me such a thing, so we had to find another place in a real hurry, which is never a god thing.Monday 7th February 2022
Jess5 StarI am hard pressed to write anything critical about River Garden. On a surface level: the lunches are free, there is no holiday time but you receive 7.08 as a FT employee to compensate. The benefits are fantastic and HR is always there the go over my benefits with me anytime I've ever needed assistance. What makes River Garden great: 100% the workplace culture. Employee retention is their highest priority and its very much reflected in the long tenure of so many employee who have been here 20+ years. Management and my coworkers genuinely ask me how things are going in my position and actively listen and provide guidance often. I truely have no complaints.Wednesday 22nd December 2021
Eric Sneed5 StarOutstanding facility with exceptional care for my mother. Many may get 'frustrated' with how particular the staff is about key rules and expectations. Frankly, this is what I believe makes River Garden outstanding in what they do. The administration takes great pride in the staff and the care for its residents. Staff is incredibly accommodating to each individual and genuinely cares about each individual resident's health and welfare. Planning care for an elderly parent is in no ways 'easy' for the family. I would strongly urge any caregiver to reach out to River Garden for information and guidance to see if the facility would be a good fit.Tuesday 7th September 2021
Robin Anderson5 StarMy father was there for rehab after his stay in the hospital. Everyone on the staff was fantastic! It’s wonderful to see such caring, compassionate, and friendly faces. I highly recommend River Garden Hebrew Home to anyone of any faith. Our family is Christian and Dad had a small Christmas tree in his room during his stay. When it was time to discharge him, the staff had a group conference over the phone with the family so that we could transition him back to his retirement home. Those kinds of details are what sets River Garden above all the rest.Tuesday 12th January 2021
C C5 StarExcellent care and facility, well staffed unlike most similar facilities. Take great care of the patients in rehab and nursing home. Does not look "institutional" like some many of these places. Facility is spotless and we'll well maintained.
This is by far, the best rehab and nursing home facility I have seen in Florida, certainly number one in Jacksonville.Saturday 11th January 2020
