My father was diagnosed with a terminal illness with in 2 weeks of his ER visit. I called North Ridge Care Center and I was very impressed with the quick response to assist my family and I in placing my father. During his stay at North Ridge, I witnessed countless patients being taken care of with the utmost respect. My family is very pleased with the care provided by the awesome staff. Since my father's transition; we have made a donation to the facility in honor of my father. Thanks to each of you!

I placed my husband there for one week. I cannot begin to tell you of the horrors he experienced. First he was locked in a room, because he was disoriented, that should not have happened. My husband has Parkinson and some dementia and he does not have a mean bone in his body. Why not take some time and talk to him and assure him I will be there the next day. His sister drove from Lafayette and the home seemed surprised to see her. They then returned him to his room and she then tried to get someone to shower him since he stunk. No one came and when she asked an aide who was on her phone if she could give him a shower, s he informed her she was off the clock. Cell phones should be band during working hours. I arrived around 6 o’clock and all the the days food trays were stacked and left in his room and when I got him home his depends appeared to have been on him for days. He used 6 depends in 7 days and he was very red from lack of changing. This stay set him back to the extent that he doesn’t even seem to know where he is and actually seems that he has been off meds. I would not recommend leaving a love one there unless someone is going to be with them everyday of there stay (why leave them)!!

Our staff here is so compassionate. They love and treat our residents like family. Getting to visit Northridge is one of my favorite things to do!
