I have been a patient with Nyla for approximately 6 years, prior to her joining Road to a better life and have followed Nyla in NH from Manchester, Concord, Newington, & Merrimack. When she joined RTABL my co-pay WAS $40 recently it has been jumping up & has gone from $40, $55, $75, $115 & now $135 for an out of pocket no insurance rate and this is for a 1/2 hr ONLY visit. There is never ANY notice of increase & I seem to always have an unpaid balance even though I pay 'in full' at the time of my visit. I've called to dispute this & they could care less & now have had to drop Nyla whom I thought I had built a trusting relationship with but they could apparently care less about that as well, they truly did not care & made absolutely NO EFFORT to resolve anything. I am so disappointed, this is our mental health system. I believe this was intentionally done, per my last phone call, to discourage me from returning. The conversation went something like this, I asked why & when did the out of pocket rate go up to $115 & her response was SO smug & she said ‘well actually YOURS is $135 & I replied ‘well then I guess you can terminate me’ & she said ‘ok’. Just like that 6 years. Again this is our mental health system. No help to relocate me as a patient no goodbye just an ‘ok’ our mental health system has its priorities mixed up & it’s disappointing. Good luck to you Nyla in your future endeavors with RTABL, I enjoyed our sessions but am very disappointed in how you chose to do this, a respectful conversation would have been a better alternative,

Road to a better life is a life saver the staff and doctors here really care about their patients and are professional. If you or someone you know needs help from an addiction this is the place to go DO NOT BOTHER WITH A METHADONE CLINIC. All that is, is exchangingone addiction for another. A Road to a better life completely changed my life and got me back on track and heading in the right direction again i cannot say enough about this place it is a life saver 100%.

Since day one the staff made me feel welcome and have never made me feel judged. I've been a patient here for over 8 years and will always be grateful for the kindness and support they have offered me through the ups and downs of recovery. This facility is by far the best. Thank you 💜

I have personally been at R.O.A.D ( 255 RT. 108 in Somersworth, NH for over 4 years now, I've seen 4 different pain care doctors and only 2 helped me and cared about me, Sherm and Chelsea and they're gone. The only reason I continued to stay is because of Tammy (M.A) and Michelle ( receptionist ) they've had my back and they've fought for me when no one else would. My 5 stars are for Tammy and Michelle for being there for me for 4 years and being family to me and my son. You're the only two whom never looked down at me and always treated me like a human being not like scum as some of the doctors do.

They will mis quote your bill at time of visit and later send you a bill for more money to correct their mistake, while blaming you for not noticing their mistake at the time.
