I was a client of sandstone in 2019 after I did residential treatment at their Colorado Springs location. I went through the full program from PHP to OP and still participate in the Alumni groups every week. The program itself was wonderful, even as Covid hit they managed it well and were able to maintain a consistent and well managed schedule throughout. Many of the counselors and other staff are truly caring and understanding people. I still keep in touch with a few today. The Alumni program has been an absolute blessing as well. It helped me meet great people and even after I moved from Denver I can participate through Zoom. The Alumni Coordinator Kelly is amazing! She goes above and beyond to come up with great discussion topics, connect with new clients and alumni and build meaningful connections and friendships between everyone. Communication is always on point and group is run smoothly and effectively to ensure everyone can participate to their comfort level. I met some truly special people while at Sandstone and made life long friends and it’s great to get to see them every week in Alumni group even though I don’t live in Denver anymore. Thank you to Kelly and some of the other amazing staff at Sandstone for everything they did for me and continue to do for others!
