What a truly special place! Second Chance helped me more than I could have ever asked for. Even in the midst of a pandemic, the team at Second Chance made me feel apart of a community and gave me the strength to stay in treatment. What really did it for me was the staff. The people at Second Chance ACTUALLY care about YOU! They gave me a life changing experience and I can not thank them enough!

Second Chance Addiction Care is a very unique addiction treatment center in Potomac, MD that truly cares to help its clients! Its staff, especially Nicholas Borowski, go out of the their way to help not only the client but the whole family too. When our son needed accommodations, we were pointed to sources where help could be found on a short notice at a reasonable price. As a parent I am very impressed in how professional and very caring Second Chance Addiction Center has been in guiding the client as well as the family to understand and overcome the disease of addiction. The weekly family support group under the excellent leadership of Mark Servantius is the best program of its kind! It is extremely helpful to have such an outstanding support group. I am very grateful to Second Chance Addiction Center for being there fully committed not only to the clients but also to the families.

Boyfriend got very sick want to the hospital and since we missed group because of his health, they sent a text a text telling us we were discharge and that we needed to get our stuff. They didn't even ask how he was doing. If they are close to someone in the program and they give dirty urine or misbehave in any way, the worst punishment they'll get is called pho which is like another form of blackout

A hidden gem in the treatment world! Moved to the MoCo/DC area recently out of treatment. I needed further treatment and I am so blessed to have found Second Chance. I’ve already gotten so much out of the in-person small group sessions. The staff and fellow clientele are wonderful. We all truly care about recovering and living the best possible life we can. Everyone is kind and respectful. Best of all there’s always fresh coffee and comfortable seating! I could go on and on raving about the immaculate, outstanding operation of Second Chance. I am lucky to have formed valuable connections here, and I highly recommend this facility for anyone serious about recovery and finding the best in themselves.
