Mom has been to several and rehabs, lastly Avista Healthcare was so bad she ended up in the ICU. So I was very skeptical when deciding to place mom here. Mom was in the ICU in September due to Covid Pneumonia. She ended up in an LTAC, the two different rehabs that didn’t understand how to care for her trach collar so she ended up in the ICU with recurring pneumonia, MRSA, and sepsis. So mom needed a rehab with a vent unit and this was one option and the other one was in Turnersville. After Speaking with the nurse supervisor and the director, I felt comfortable To send mom here. The place is the best she’s been in so far! She receives good care, the Respiratory therapists are on the same floor. I have good communication with The nurses, social workers and the director. Mom is sitting up by herself now, she is eating some pleasure snacks now. They are continuing to monitor her tracheostomy and oxygen. Mom is not 100 but definitely see some improvements!!! We are happy as a family for Silver Health care.

When you say in response to reviews that people should call with their issues could you give a name or title to ask for, I have tried to call about my issues but the people have been not very responsive. Who best should I ask for and good time to call thanks

Doesn't deserve ANY stars! There is NO care at this facility! Not enough skilled staff, Management never address's any issues. Staff is rude and uncaring. Return phone calls to Administrator or Social Worker are never returned. Patients never have their own clothing even though they are labeled. My family member waited 4 months for a podiatrist to be scheduled to the point where he couldn't put his shoes on because of the pain. Lack of personal care for patients. This place should be shut down! For the cost of this facility the staff should be making above minimum wage and the patients should be able to have a one on one aide. Medicaid pays an exuberant amount of money, but it's obviously making the "Corporation" is lining their pockets with the profits. Family member has been removed from this H--- H----.

Don’t put you love ones in here no ones cares about the patients or the loves ones like us. Only caring about profit. When I Went to visit my uncle in court 2 he told me the staff won’t answer his call bell or even care enough when he tells the nurses about his pain and problems. The staff is not capable to provide care to your loves ones. I won’t put my enemies. I tried making multiple complaints but the DON or any one else would return my call. In my last recent visit I overheard they will shut down my uncles floor for remolding after state came in. No wonder that floor reeks of urine and the building should get shut down.

After a bad experience at another long term care facility, Silver Healthcare Center was a breathe of fresh air. They took excellent care of my father. Communication from physical, occupational, and speech therapy were strong. It was easy to schedule outdoor visits. The business office was friendly and helpful with any needs we had. I would highly recommend Silver Healthcare.
