James O1 StarAcross the 37 days I spent there I was not breathalyzed once. A gentleman who was talking about suicide ended up committing suicide by overdosing and was not found for almost a whole day. There was absolutely no supervision. From day one there I could have gone out drinking all day, drove back wasted, and nobody would have been the wiser.
Therapy sessions were forced. If I didn't wish to share, they would pelt me with "you have to share something" until I gave in. Thats not how therapy works. When a person feels comfortable with sharing something then it comes out. You shouldn't be forces to share your feelings in front of 20 something people if you don't want to.
There were bugs. The bathrooms were disgusting. The mattress I was given was thoroughly piss stained by previous tenants. And upon leaving the place early, I was promised a refund for the 3 weeks that I wasn't going to use... never got it. Dom the owner outright stole my money.Tuesday 8th May 2018
Domingos Dias5 StarWENDY DORINGER, ALEXANDRIA M and JAMES O were NON COMPLIANT RESIDENTS actively using and resistant to getting the help they need. They go to extreme lengths to manipulate, lie, argue and avoid responsibility for their actions. THEY RETALIATE against people closest to them who stop enabling them, set boundaries and follow thru with consequences. Nexus Sober House has a zero tolerance policy. We do not make exceptions or compromise House rules, especially zero tolerance policy for residents actively using NOT BEING ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY.Thursday 20th February 2020
Antonio Riley5 StarI have had a great experience with Nexus Sober House. This place helped save my life. They offer group therapy, AA/NA Step work programs and meetings in house. Dom the manager is a great mentor, and really cares about the guys under his career. He is a source of wisdom and inspiration; he knows the 12 Steps and the psychological techniques to enable the 12 Steps to be applied to your life. I have learned so much from him and he had helped guide me on my recovery journey.
Both the Easton house and the Bridgeport house are beautiful and offer a serene environment; stability to be able to work the 12 Steps and re-start your life.
These are private run sober houses in Fairfield County, Connecticut offering both single and double rooms at a very affordable rate. For the quality of care, the environment, and the cost effectiveness of these houses I highly recommend them to anyone coming out of a rehab and looking for the right place for a fresh start.Wednesday 5th October 2016

Wendy Doniger1 StarDom Dias house manager is volatile and loses his temper when provoked. The largest CT crystal meth bust happened at the house in December 2016. Previous incidents include a brawl resulting in felony assault charges, one confirmed overdose other police/ambulance activity occur frequently. The property was inhabitable due to mold and is currently for sale by bank as short sale. Needs to be torn down - it's a dump.Saturday 29th July 2017
