Through therapy I was able to see the bright side of living sober. I have over five months and I’m going to keep going.

William Windham4 StarMy time at Sober Partners has been an invaluable experience as part of my journey to recovery from alcohol addiction. The case managers; Andrew, Robert, and Jason each have unique abilities and approaches to recovery that facilitate growth. They are deeply concerned with each and every client and want nothing more than to provide the best possible mutually agreed upon outcome. The relationships I have developed with my peers here have been truly meaningful and I plan to continue these friendships long after I depart from rehabilitation. The only thing negative I will say has to do more with the administrative side of things. I observed some unprofessional behavior and lack of transparency regarding one individual in particular. However, I feel as though I have been given the tools here to set me up for success and future sobriety. James worked very diligently on my aftercare plan despite having to work around many barriers. The groups are well run and taught me a lot to continue my recovery. This program seems well-suited to self-motivated clients, as there is a fair amount of free time -- I found this helpful to learn how to sit with myself, others, and my emotions.
