My mother, entered this facility in July, due to a partial hip replacement. She has not been given PT for the last 3 months and was just starting to learn to walk with a walker when it was withdrawn. Fast forward to two days ago on January 8th at Solaris, she fell. This time, she broke part of her elbow and her other hip. She has surgery today to remove a piece of bone that broke off in her elbow and a Partial hip replacement in the remaining hip. She has surgery today and is down to 90 pounds. I’m afraid she will die on the table. She is NEVER going back to this facility. Our family has asked over and over again for PT to continue. Turns out the PT Director never turned in the PT requests from her doctors. I blame this director for the following all due to the lack of PT: 1. Increased depression because she wanted to go home put couldn’t get PT services due to negligence on behalf of the PT director 2. The broken hip and elbow due to lack of PT 3. Regression of physical abilities Resign, Mr PT Director. You do not care about people and their progress to get out of this facility. You should be doing your job. Get another career.

Update to my Mom’s condition….her elbow was shattered and she had to have a rod placed in her leg along with the partial hip replacement….she now wants to die and has told me to call all of my siblings to say goodbye. This was her fourth fall under their care. They DO NOT have FALL ALARMS! Look for them in any facility should you need to place a love one.

All these people care about is the money. They are very aggressive about collecting money. I caught them double charging me and they did not even offer an apology. Their primary goal is to collect as much money as possible and give as little in services as possible. The employees are extremely condescending and rude.

My Mother-In-Law was required to get Physical Therapy at Solaris. Whenever my wife called to check up on her status the Director of Physical Therapy was not available. Even though my wife left numerous messages, her calls were never answered. We will never use Solaris again.
