KEEP YOUR LOVED ONES FAR AWAY!!! My grandmother who lives in Florida was admitted to The Springs status post being hospitalized for weakness. The hospital sent her for some rehab so she can get her strength back. She went in weighing 110lbs and walking with assistance. Now myself and my parents live in NY. we were told she was being walked and was being taken care of. Suddenly we are told she needs to go to their long term care section due to her not getting better. At this time we decide to move her to a different place. My parents went down to move her and found her weighing 80lbs and not being able to lift her head. She was literally starved and malnourished. How does a place let a person lose 30lbs in a little less then 3 months. My grandmother is now at a different place and is starting to eat and get strength back. I have faith she will pull through but i can never fathom how a facility meant to care for people who need help lets them whither away.

The Springs is AMAZING!! Everyone is incredibly caring, helpful and kind! My Dad is thriving! I want to especially thank both Marlene and Amanda!! Both of these WONDERFUL women are heaven-sent! They are A+ people and treat my Dad as if he was their father! I can’t thank them enough! 🥰 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Springs!!

I am an agency nurse, and I fill in shifts at various rehab centers and nursing homes here in the Pinellas County area. I just got home from working a 12-hour shift at The Springs at Boca Ciega Bay, and I have to say- they exceeded my expectations. I was impressed at how CLEAN the facility was, and how CLEAN the residents are! The staff obviously takes pride in caring for their residents, and it shows. They were professional from start to finish. I have been to facilities where I’ve almost walked out at how dirty they were (bugs, trash, unclean residents). The Springs at Boca Ciega Bay is the FIRST facility I’ve picked up a shift at that I wasn’t scared for the residents, my safety, OR my nursing license. Seriously, I get asked a lot for recommendations from friends as to where they can place their loved ones, and I’ve never been able to recommend anywhere before…I have FINALLY found a facility I can actually recommend from experience. I only wish I had known about this facility when my grandmother was alive and was in and out of rehab for various medical issues during the last few years of her life. If your loved one need rehab services, please look at this place….you won’t be disappointed!

My mother is currently at The Springs for rehab after a 1.5 week stay at the hospital. I can tell you that the staff is honestly friendly and the Physical Therapy staff is amazing. I was worried to put my Mom somewhere other than the hospital or home. Our family is comfortable with the staff working there. It is very clean where Mom is currently (short term rehab). There are residents that are supervised by the nurses station during the day, but that is so they can be observed for their own safety. There are activities that short term and long term clients can and do attend (Bingo, local singers, Amos the world famous mini horse to name a few). Therapy dogs, a beautiful Finch habitat, and a few beta fish tanks for the residents to watch and enjoy. A library with a large screened TV, jigsaw puzzles, books, and magazines. I can't say enough about how Happy we are with The Springs. We are welcome to come in any time unannounced. I know you can't say that a lot about other facilities. HUGE Appreciation to the Employees of the Springs!! THANK YOU for all you do.
