St. John’s Nursing Center provides high-quality nursing care and rehabilitation services for the most complex cases. Our caring team of professionals is dedicated to providing the best available health care in a comfortable environment.
St. John’s Nursing Center houses 181 beds and is located Catholic Health Services North Campus with ample recreational areas in beautifully landscaped settings. St. John’s Nursing Center offers a high nurse to patient/resident ratio and takes pride in a staff that is professionally trained to manage special needs such as wound care, infusion therapy, pain management, and palliative/comfort care. Short-term skilled nursing services are also available to our rehab patients and can include IV therapy, wound care, medically complex care and more.
We provide rehabilitation and nursing care for patients who require short-term recovery following an acute illness or accident. St. John’s skilled nursing unit also helps patients who may be bedfast, or who require treatment of chronic conditions as well as assistance with the activities of daily living for extended periods of time. Our programs are run under the supervision of highly qualified medical directors. The medical directors are in consultation with the patient’s primary physician to monitor and implement the specific medical or rehabilitation protocols prescribed for the individual.

Alison Vicent5 StarMy grandpa Stanley lived at St. John’s Nursing Center for the past nearly two years and I wanted to take a moment to thank them for the exceptional and compassionate care they provided during that time and particularly during his final days. My grandpa truly enjoyed spending time with his nurses and the social workers at the facility — he’d even visit his “favorite” social worker every day she was in. When he passed, the nursing team was so wonderful to our family as we came in to visit and say goodbye. Several of the nurses even gathered in his room to see him and were tearing up/crying and that was just one of the ways I could tell this was more than a job for them and that they truly cared about him as a person. I also need to give MAJOR love to the facility’s unbelievable receptionist, Lynne. Lynne is an angel here on Earth and St. John’s is so incredibly lucky to have her. She is exceedingly kind, empathetic and provides comfort to family members well above and beyond her job description. When we were visiting our grandpa during his final days, she greeted us so warmly each day and offered us each hugs and beautiful flowers. She is an absolute gem, please recognize her on our behalf! Overall, the whole team was wonderful over these past couple years and we cannot thank them enough for the high quality care, comfort and peace they brought both him and our family.Saturday 15th January 2022
Hubert Morant5 StarSaint Johns and their staff are very good and excellent. The nursing staff are great. The place is very clean. My mom is still in the rehab and the overall service is superb. Sir saint Isaac1 StarThis place is horrible dont send your grandparents there they let my grandmother die when broward medical center did her right and gave her a place where she needed help. They told me she had a heart attack while she only had a history of one back in 2003 afterwards no medicine was given to her after her stay. So they called me saying she died from a heart attack. (AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST)Sunday 6th June 2021
Madelyne Mercado5 StarMy mom was here for 1 1/2 weeks on the 2nd floor for rehab. She loved the attention and how nice she was treated.. The nurses were attentive, good food, therapy and also nice to me went I had questions. They didn't accept visitors at this time because of COVID-19, but they kept me updated with her progress. We chose the right rehab center, she was happy. Thank you!Sunday 25th October 2020
