I'd rate zero if I could. I initiated this appointment for alcohol counseling myself. My 1st visit was in person for a 1 hr. initial session and lab work. Second and third "visits" were 30 min. phone calls by NP. I almost instantly began to get online bills that seemed high. The bills were confirmed by the group and I ended my affiliation with SPARC at that time. For these simple visits they billed my insurance a total of $1201.61 (which is outrageous) of which I was on the hook for $991.61 (which is another failure of our healthcare system). What's worse is that for one of the two phone calls, they billed an additional $260.43 as a facility fee - meaning for the Nurse's use of the office and phone. COMPLETELY UNACCEPABLE!! They should be ashamed of themselves. For a group that is supposed to be dedicated to helping people with addiction problems and under the name of St. Peter, they themselves are actually addicted to billing and money for their pockets. Disgraceful. Go anywhere else.

Addicts are pretty picky people, understand that when you read reviews. I was here for a year to complete a DWI Court program. I graduated here, and have fond memories. Rehab in general can save your life and make YOU, YOU again. That being said, some counselors are better than others. Some of these counselors party still, so dont be surprised if your counselor is occasionally hungover and whiny and easily irritated by you. Be prepared for textbook diagnosis from 1978 rather than firsthand experience. But all in all, start with art therapy, you wont regret it. Paul, Amelia, Amanda were my favorites.

If you're an addict trying to recover and want to get belittled and deal with Dr's and admin who are demeaning, condescending, insulting, disrespectful, cruel, unprofessional, selfish and who care more about that check than they do their patients, go here! But good luck getting anyone to answer the phone when you call. I'd be surprised if they're even still open by the end of this year. I'm surprised medical malpractice attorneys aren't waiting outside salivating at the thought of a patient wanting to file a negligence lawsuit.
