My Mom came home yesterday after almost a month of recovery here! She had her second hip surgery, and I want to say how pleased I was with St. Peter's Rehab. Yes, they need more aides and the nursing staff I am sure is working many hours overtime, however, I was there often and was genuinely happy with the care, cleaning schedule and food service. The rehab portions of her stay were fantastic, and whenever I called with a question, they were always so kind and helpful. I was not concerned about her safety there at all. In addition, music is always playing in the hallways and that creates a soothing atmosphere for residents and staff. This is a great place for a short term rehab hospital. My husband Ed and I are quite thankful.

My grandmother went here and had one of the worst experiences that my family ever had. The nurses where verbally abusive, uncaring, and thievery is not uncommon. My Grandmother was essentially locked in a room, was showered twice in 14 days. This place has done tremendous amounts of damage to my grandmother fragile mental state, and developed horribly anxiety in her short time here. This place is every bit the stereotypical nursing home you’d hear about. Absolutely don’t send loved ones her.

Most employees seemed nice, but one nurse spoke nasty to my 96 yr old mother. No compassion at all. My mother was in terrible pain and when this nurse was called she was not sympathetic at all. She was angry and mean! Mom said herself said some were nice but others were mean and I saw it myself!

After visiting my friend who is recovering from hip surgery, I can not believe the bad reviews. I have found St. Peter's Nursing and Regal to be an AWESOME place. The staff and therapist are so friendly and nice and have treated my friend so well. I would give 10 stars of I could. Would diffently recommend this place.
