I absolutely love Stonehenge of Orem! I usually don’t write reviews but I had to when it came to this nursing home. My dad was in this facility for about a month due to a stroke and they treated him like if he was their family member, they were so patient with him and my dad loved the staff. When I picked him up he had inside jokes with his nurses and therapist it was the cutest thing it made me feel so grateful for everyone that made my dad feel at home. I would only trust my dad to this facility! Thank you again to all the staff that helped and care for my dad.

Very upset with this facility! While our mother was staying here to get better over a fall she took and broke her ribs, several things happened that really upset us very much. 1. The nurse taking care of her, forgot to take out the blue hub for her pump. So the needle didn't go inside of her and she did not get any insulin for 2-3 hours. My mom is the one who recognized that she was nearly 400 for her blood sugar level. If my mom didn't test herself, she could have went way too high. That is not good at all. The nurse did get embarrassed because she said that she did not know how her pump worked. We were all told that when our mother went to this facility, that all of the nurses knew how my mothers pump worked. I talked with another nurse about this situation and she said that they don't know how this particular pump works and that all of the nurses should all take a course and learn it. I said that they do need to learn how this pump works because we want our mother to come home and not pass away from negligence. 2. A nurse, named Marlene, was very rude to our mother. When she came in at 5 am in the morning, she woke up our mother from a deep sleep and made her go to the bathroom. She told Nurse Marlene that she did not have to go, but she was told to get up and do anyway. Then our mother asked her for a drink of water and Nurse Marlene told her that she could not have a drink of water until she got back in bed. Our mother was sitting on the side of the bed and that is when she wanted the drink but was refused the drink until she laid down, which does not make any sense. Our mother told the staff there that Nurse Marlene was not allowed to take care of her again. 3. The Check Out Nurse today, 6-25-2020 at 11:00a, was rude to our mother when nicely asked if she was taking care of her meds and if she got all of her meds before she left the facility today. That nurse, went down to our mothers eye level, and said very sarcastically, "Do you want to stay another day?" 4. Our mother did say that some of the nurses were nice to her and helped her sit up and not hurt her because she had broken her ribs. They were patient with her while helping her. So we appreciate those nurses who did help our mother. But we will not use this facility again. 5. Just as our mother was checking out, a Nurse told my sister and our mother who just got checked out that our mothers CNA, just tested positive for the Covid 19 virus, and that now, our mother has to get tested again. And now she has to be quarantined for 2 weeks. Oh my gosh!!!!! They did release our mother. Now the staff has to be tested for the Covid 19 virus too.
