The staff at Stoneridge are compassionate, caring and trying to help their patients. Every patient is different and has different needs and staff and Doctor Collins work hard to make sure that patient’s treatment plan is beneficial to each individual. I believe in their program and how they interact and treat their patients.

I have no idea why I had a one star rating for this place. They helped me find new ways of life and living. And its thanks to most all I encountered here that I am able to function the way I do today. Much love to Doctor Collins and his highly educated team off staff. I enjoyed my time graduating the program

This is a difficult review to write. Because Stone ridge and Dr. Collins saved my life a couple times. When I started working in Recovery, I refered alot of dual diagnosis cases to pronghorn and Stoneridge. I felt that the staff had a genuine care for my well being and I cared for most of them as if they were my family. I know alot of you will think this part is crazy, but I even met the love of my life during an inpatient stint in Pronghorn. The statistics are %100 against us. But we are now going on our 2nd year together and our love for each other gets stronger every day. Which is why this next bit really hurt me. I take my fiance to get meds once a month at Stoneridge. This last time I took her, I waited in the lobby because the heat outside was exhausting. We were both sitting in the lobby when the nurse and CEO of Stoneridge walked in and went to the back. At first she my fiance to wait in the lobby, then she yelled out her name to go in the back where she was. This is what she thought she was doing. She called my fiance to the back to "save her from me". Like I'm a monster of a human being. At this point I've known the CEO/nurse for about three years but she doesn't say one word to me and pretends like I'm not there. Then she saved my fiance from having to sit in the same room as me. Like I was a vial disgusting human being. She had no clue that we were together. After she did that, it was just awkward. I didn't know what to say because I felt the judgement coming off of her toward me. Anyway I just needed to get that off my chest because it was really bothering me. I dont understand why she thought that way about me. Like I was a monster and my fiance was my prey that needed to be rescued from me. I didn't want to actually call out who this was, but Karma is a bit**. Her name is Amy. She is so awkward to be around, even after knowing her for about three years. I hope that she lifts the wool from over her eyes. Judgement is poison if you let it be. This place did amazing things for me, but as long as Amy is on the staff, I won't be referring people their way these are people that already feel hopeless and they don't need the "I am better than thou" attitude from a staff member. I will always love Kyle, Dr. Collins and Steve. They are amazing staff.

Nothing has changed during the year from the last review. Unprofessional staff that is not trained for this type of work, ( A staff member has been known to yell at a comotose patient for urinating on himself) no activities for the patients and the overall feeling that no one involved in the operation of this facility cares about anything except for the collection of their paycheck. If you have other options for the care of a loved one, go somewhere else. Your loved one will thank you.

Not much better than the old state run mental asylums. The staff is very friendly and empathetic but Dr. Collins is not and instead of getting to the core of an illness, heavy medication protocol is more his style. You get what you pay for.
