I have to write this review as this place is horrible! :( :( The only good thing about it is that the facility is newer and clean and they have a few good nurses at least 2 as well as a few good physical therapists also 2. My mother-in-law was there for 16 days straight from the hospital for rehab services. These are my biggest complaints. 1. The lack of communication with the administrative staff is horrible. I am still trying to reach someone to arrange home health care and home physical therapy but no one has ever returned my calls from the social services department while she was there or now while she is home. 2. They put you on hold forever when you call and when you are put through to the person you want to speak with they never answer and you always get their voicemail and they don't return you call after leaving several messages. 3. I asked for an email address to write since I wasn't getting through to anyone via the phone but I was given a wrong email address. It is like they don't want to be bothered with you and your concerns. 4. We were told that she would get physical therapy 2 times a day, 5 days a week. She was lucky to get it even 1 time a day and there were days when she did not get any. 5. She said the food was horrible. 6. When she put on her call light to have someone help her to the bathroom or to administer her medication it took as long as 2 hours at times. She couldn't get out of bed at all on her own so going to the bathroom was a challenge. 7. Her medications were rarely given to her on time and as I said she waited a long time and had to ask for them most of the time. 8. She asked them to stop a certain medication because it made her feel worse and we were told they would give her something else. Later while visiting we found out they were still giving it to her. The whole experience was a disaster. When we walked in we thought, "Wow, how lovely this place is." And that is the only good thing I can say about this place. There were other things I could write about but I don't have the time to go on and on. Stay away is all I can say. I would never recommend this facility.

This place is very unprofessional and disorganized! And I have zero trust in the competency of their staff, more specifically the physical therapist. I have strong doubts my aunt received adequate therapy here. And the receptionist do not know how to speak clearly and coherently!! Please do not place your loved one in their care.

This place is responsible for my mother’s death, they took an X-ray and found that she had a life-threatening problem but they did not take any action nor did they tell us there was the problem. My Mom was discharged and after 7 days with no follow up nor could we reach a social worker or anyone. She was scheduled to have home nursing care and physical therapy but no one called us to come to our home until after she had died. No one would return our phone calls when we tried to find out when they would come. We are talking to a lawyer to file lawsuit.

I would give zero stars if I could. This place was awful...no one ever answered the phone at the front desk and the phones were not working in the patient's rooms. I talked with the social worker several times about making sure his belongings made the move to the new place. The day he crashed moved after days of trying to get him out and they couldn't effectively coordinate the move he arrived without his belongings and personal items. He had gotten brand new clothes for Christmas which disappeared and his personal mail with all if his personal information was no where to be found either. I made a police report and the police told me they get called there frequently for the same kind of issues.

I am only giving it 1 star because that is what I need to give in order to write a post. My Mother is currently in Bria, we were referred by the Social Worker. Bria lacks communication with the Resident and family, it is not easy to talk or get ahold of anyone. I have tried contacting the Administrator, DON and head of Therapy. I have yet to hear from someone. I tried to talk to the man that was in Therapy and he saw me knocking on the door to ask a question but moved out of the way so I could not see him any longer. I did have a conversation with their Social Worker but she was not able to answer any of my questions. My Mother cannot have certain foods and yet they bring her a big plate of food she cannot have. Therapy documented they are working on transferring her from bed to wheelchair, she does not have a wheelchair nor are they bring a wheelchair to her room to work on transferring. They cannot get her medication correct time and time again. My Mother was supposed to get a cast after being there for a week, she had to call and schedule the appointment herself. They found a wheelchair that belong to someone else without a leg lift and sent her in transportation to her appointment. She had to hold her leg by the pants leg to keep from hitting her leg. I tried calling and you get the no one. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. I am very familiar with Senior Healthcare and I know they are several state regulars they are not following.
