Outpatient Addiction Treatment In NJ

As the United States continues to battle addiction and mental health disorders at unfathomable rates, the need for quality treatment has reached dire levels. Summit Behavioral Health was established to offer accessible care for those in need. While our facilities are located in the Northeastern United States, our doors are open to anyone nationwide who needs help. We practice a client-first philosophy that is designed to treat addiction and mental health at its core. Our fully licensed staff and convenient location options allow us to provide care at any stage in your recovery journey.

We all possess unique chemistry as individuals, and the approach to substance abuse and mental health treatment must reflect these differences. There is not a single treatment approach that will work for everyone in treatment, so each case must be examined thoroughly by a specialist to determine what works best for you.

At Summit, we take pride in working closely with our clients to develop a treatment plan that meets your specific needs. Our facility offers effective treatment strategies that are rooted in evidence-based practices. Our goal is for you to be comfortable while you work toward achieving long-lasting recovery.

What separates us from other treatment centers nationwide is our personalized and integrative care delivered by experts who are at the top of their professional careers. The medical and clinical services provide essential support, structure, and counseling that help stop drug or alcohol use, and enable you to cope with mental health disorders. Our goal is to prevent relapses and help people live healthy lives.

In the start of my recovery this place was it for me. I met a ton of amazing people and made a bunch of new friends along the way that I’m still connected to especially when it comes to my recovery. These people have shown me that I am not alone, that I can make it through this, and most importantly that I am loved unconditionally by all this people. Shout out to Ashley Lewis for being the awesome woman she is.

I am closing in on one year sober thanks in part to the support I received from this place. Jeff and Rose were great counselors. I feel really confident in my sobriety and am thankful every day I made the decision to stop drinking thanks to the tools I developed here

This place is a waste of money. My 18 year old son needed treatment for marijuana addiction. They said they could help him. I asked if my son would be placed in a group with other young people. I asked if they took our insurance and how much it would cost us; they said insurance would cover it. Yet my son was placed in a group of 40-50 year olds, all of them ALCOHOLICS. No one told us it was a treatment program for alcoholism. They have an adolescent group apparently, but no program for young adults. It was 9 hours per week of group therapy, and maybe 20 minutes of one-on-one treatment. He stuck with it for about 6 weeks and finally persuaded us to let him quit and do a DBT course instead. Then I got the bill for $7,000. The nice lady in the billing department said, don't worry you, don't owe that. Two weeks later, I got a bill for $15,000. Find a treatment center with people who are honest and upfront, which is not Summit Behavioral Health.

The doctors and staff here were verging welcoming and understanding. Took care of all my needs. The group sessions and the coffee were definitely my favorite parts.
