The physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy is wonderful here. Shout out to Molly and Andrea and Gus. Unfortunately they are desperately short staffed. ESPECIALLY at night and weekends. On my mom’s first night there they left her alone in her room for over 12 hours lying in a wet cold bed. And all of the staff there IS NOT vaccinated. We couldn’t visit for weeks because a staff member had COVID. Happened several times. I was there visiting my mom and a woman across the hall kept calling for help. After 1 hour of hearing her pleas I asked her if I could help. All she needed was a fork to eat her dinner. My mom would turn on her call light and MAYBE an hour later she would get help. If you or your loved one is not ambulatory DON’T go here. And their chef created meals are a joke. The food was terrible you could get better package food from Jewel. My mom lost so much weight being there.

This place deserves 5 stars! My mother in law fell and fractured her pelvis. She also contracted covid while in the hospital. She ended up at Symphony of Hanover Park to rehab for her fracture and the covid pneumonia. She was here over three weeks and was not cooperative. She was not a model patient. Yet, the staff was so caring and patient toward her. They were highly professional on all levels. They were in constant communication with us/family every step of the way. From Jaylin the case worker to Patrice the head of physical therapy to all of the nurses whom we got to know each of them by name…. Everyone was wonderful, professional and kind. Everyone…..From receptionist to aid to nurse and doctor….. you could tell these people are happy to work here. And they were so helpful too with the discharge steps afterwards. Prior to choosing this rehab, My aunt had recommended symphony of Hanover park because she had gone to visit friends that had to rehab here. It was a newer facility and didn’t smell bad, so we chose it. Our experience with Symphony of Hanover park was so positive that it exceeded our expectations. If we ever need to rehab again…. We will seek them out.

The Therapist were wonderful, jasmine and Jennifer. Diana on the 3rd floor was awesome. So sorry to say but when the patient would use the call light no one would come. I know you are short staffed but not checking in on a patient is unexpectable. When it was Claremont it was wonderful but sorry to say I would never come back to this place again.
