About Taunton Comprehensive Treatment Center in Taunton, MA

Taunton Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) provides personalized outpatient care for adults of all genders who are struggling with opioid addiction. Our center in Taunton, Massachusetts, offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which includes prescription medications to help adults end their opioid use and counseling to prepare them for long-term recovery.

When MAT first began to be offered in the U.S., patients who received opioid addiction treatment at methadone clinics were limited to one type of medication. Through the years, additional medications have proved to be effective for both short- and long-term use when taken as directed by a qualified healthcare provider. Today, patients who choose Taunton CTC may receive methadone, buprenorphine, or Suboxone.

A member of our medical staff meets with each patient to assess their needs and determine which medication is best for them.

Therapies Used at Our Taunton Methadone Clinic

The medications adults can receive at methadone clinics and other medication-assisted treatment centers can play a vital role in helping them establish a foundation for recovery. Methadone and other medications can ease withdrawal symptoms, which means that adults who have developed opioid addiction can end their opioid use without experiencing the intense distress that would otherwise occur.

But medication alone cannot prepare a person for all the challenges they may experience as they work to maintain their recovery. To help our patients address the behavioral, emotional, and social aspects of opioid addiction and recovery, we provide both individual and group counseling.

Counseling sessions are safe and supportive spaces where patients can process their experiences, address the full impact opioid addiction has had on their lives, and begin to make the lifestyle changes that will support continued recovery. Counseling can help adults develop healthier coping skills, learn relapse prevention strategies, and form healthy, positive relationships with others who are also walking the path of recovery.

What to Expect at Taunton CTC

At Taunton CTC, we understand that uncertainty about what they will experience at a methadone clinic can prevent people from seeking the treatment they need. We want to alleviate any fears or misconceptions our patients may have so that they can devote their full focus to treatment and recovery.

When a new patient arrives at our opioid addiction treatment center in Taunton, Massachusetts, they enter a welcoming environment where they can receive personalized services without shame or judgment. We understand that opioid addiction affects each person in a unique way, and we’re committed to offering the customized services and comprehensive support that will help each patient identify and achieve their recovery goals.

When you’re ready to end your opioid use and begin building a healthier life that will support successful long-term recovery, Taunton Comprehensive Treatment Center is here for you.

This facility and many of it workers help to be that life changer that many are desperate to have. If you are willing to do the work that is needed, you will become a sober person again. This is a medical facility and methadone is a medication that is prescribed by a doctor. You attend weekly groups and counseling appointments. The counselors and the program directors really care about the patients. They truly want to help. I’ve heard methadone referred to as a juice bar. I find that so sad because that is so far from what this place actually is. Of course, as with any type of program, there are people who dont want to take the necessary steps to change. They are just not ready yet. Unfortunately these are the ones who have caused the stigmatizm to methadone. You could have your life back if you attend this program. I hope that if anyone who is ready to take control of their life again, they will not be afraid of methadone or this facility to help them out.

Taunton Comprehensive Treatment Center aka Habit OPCO has saved countless lives. Unless you have been in this treatment yourself, it is very hard to understand. We are facing an epidemic as we have for the past couple decades, though recently more popularized. Knowledge is key. Every patient is different and what works for one may not work for another or all. The program is a structured environment and a more healthy way to achieve recovery than going off alone. The staff is extremely caring, the security is great, clean facilities and extremely confidential. Handicapped accessible. Safety is one thing that Habit prides itself on. Patients and staff are always safe and secure. I highly recommend this place to anyone in need of help. Or recommend to a loved one. Always better than the alternative... death. If you are using you will die. There is light at the end of the tunnel. This is not a 12 step program but the idea are not rejected. What you put in to your recovery is what you get out. This is NOT a “juice bar” or “liquid handcuffs”. This is a treatment prescribed to patients by a doctor. This comes full circle with counseling. This is recovery.

I personally have never been addicted to any kinds of opiates, but many in my family have struggled with opiate addiction, many of my friends have struggled with opiates addiction. My best friend had been on HMI the Taunton Mass clinic over there on main street and cedar street since 2012 and at the start of her treatment it had seemed to be very difficult for her ajusting to the policys, rules, even her trying to get there on time since its only open certain hours in the morning, but as soon as she committed herself to wanting to change and do better and have a life without drugs controlling her every move of everyday, things were getting better and better.she had a couple different counclors while there and her last counclor seemed to be a prefect fit for her.she had gotten pregnant and stayed clean thru the entire pregnancy and now the baby is twenty months old and up until a week or so ago she was still doing awesome compared to her lige before this clinic.my problem with this clinic is How is it legal, right,or even fair to throw this person off with no dose decrease ,no call, not even a meeting to why this had happened .to my knowledge when someone gets an emergency discharge is had to do with a crime being commited such as putting ur hands on another,a threat, drug use on premise.something to that effect.and should of tooken place at the very second she broke the policy or rule,or law for this clinic..But no that wasnt the case they let her go to her thursday moms group, they dosed her after group ended, they even reminded her of her make up group the following morning. So not thinking twice and knowing she did nothing wrong to the extent of an emergency discharge she woke up Friday am hurryed her butt to make up group was there five minutes before it starts ,as she goes to walk up the stairs she is met by a man whom shall stay nameless but is one of the three clinic security guards, and he tells her to leave the permisis asap with no futhur information given.other then you will not get dosed and they told me to tell you there is moone that you can even speak too.for the entire day and every day since that friday she has called thousands of times to speak with her x counclor and left messages after messages and now almost one week later still havent herd back from anyone in regards to the Taunton Habit Opco ..no matter the personal feeling that staff has toward a client they still should give each and every person the same fairness of treatment...thank you for letting ppl share there good and bad reveiws on here maybe down the line someone will feel some guilt and call this women back so she at least knows what the reasoning for there emergency discharge was,if at all any...and hopefully with enough comments and reveiws things like this will not happen to another addicted that wants a fresh new start at life..

This clinic is run based on favoritism. My lifetime friend had opiate n cocaine issues. He was receiving 300+ mgs daily n they put him in a cocaine group for a dirty swab. Their policy states first time caught cocaine group. 2nd time discharge. Now mind u. Why would they keep giving him 300+mgs a day knowing the coke issue. Instead of discharging him which would have saved his life. They had him in cocaine group for 10 years straight. Against their own policy. So wheres my dear friend today? Dead! Thanx to habit opco. They basiclly killed my friend Michael Rezendes. His family is totally aware of what habit did. No treatment center will ever put sumone on a cocaine group for ten years n keep feeding them 300+ mgs daily. Its about money, favoritism, n hush hush. Cats out the bag now. U people basicly killed. Him. When myself or my friend we will M approached Cory about it,she told us to mind oour own business or we would be on the outside looking in. People if u love sumone addicted. This isnt the answer. More drugs for sale there every morning than most of Taunton. 99.9% of patients there are abusing clonazepam. Becuz it dont show on their 5 cent swab. Change swabs that do detect it. They use them to get the heroin feeling while on methadone. Very Dangerous. Numerous have died who went there n becuz the swabs dont detect clonazepam people are eating them like m&ms. Check the numbers. Mine are very accurate. I know people addicted to kpin and u still dosing them. Shame on u for not fixing a problem thats easily fixed. Get swabs that detect kpin n watch how large the numbers of ur informants, rats etc. Guaranteed they using kpins. Calling Gov. Baker today with the Rezendes family n their atty. N gonna prove that what i am saying is true. Kate Resigned. Wonder Why. Christine n Cory are aware of the swab situation and the Rezendes death. My friend M left there becuz he feared for his life after what they did to Mike. 10 years in a cocaine group. Is against their own policy n am sure many laws. Even have found Methadone Bottles from clinic on sidewalk. With methadone in em. If a child got a hold of that, omg. People of Taunton come together n lets send them back to Brockton. We have High Point here. Much better. N by the book. No matter, race, religion or sex. They make u feel like a person not a bother like Staff Habit Opco
