Adanta is charged with serving the mental health, substance abuse and intellectual and developmental disability needs of individuals within Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, McCreary, Pulaski, Russell, Taylor and Wayne Counties. First opening our doors in 1967 with a small office in Pulaski County, the agency has since expanded to serve the other counties in our region to include: Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, McCreary, Pulaski, Russell, Taylor and Wayne. Most recently, we also begin offering services at an outpatient clinic located in Barren County. Adanta is one of 14 community mental health centers operating across the state. Our services are payable by Medicare, Commercial Insurance, Medicaid and via self-pay. We are also a contract vendor for the Department for Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities. We employ a varied team of over 250 staff including prescribers and professionally licensed counselors in addition to staff in administrative and client support positions. At any given time, Adanta has approximately 5,000 active clients in services and a host of programs to meet the treatment needs of the clients we serve. Check us out! We have a lot to offer.
