Often times the “issue” one brings to the program is not the only or most important piece to the puzzle. The entire team is made up of caring, compassionate experts in their respective fields. The environment is safe and welcoming and the town of Edmonds is a perfect setting to do the work. They have classes geared towards religion however their main courses are nondenominational. The community that is built between the clients themselves as well as the staff is a welcome and supportive one. 10/10 would recommend.Saturday 19th February 2022
K Williams5 StarMy experience at the Center was quite literally life saving. I really had no direction or sense of purpose in my life and I had found myself in a pretty much miserable and hopeless state. I wasn't sure that this would be a space for me. I wasn't sure that I would fit in or be understood here. I quickly learned that there are people from ALL walks of life here. We were all very different but shared a common goal and that was to get better. I was worried because I wasn't seeking help for drugs or alcohol (although they do help many people with substance abuse) so I wasn't sure that I could get the help I needed with my depression and case load of other mental health issues. I am BEYOND grateful that I had just an ounce of strength to realize I needed help and with a quick Google search found The Center. Oh I was also nervous that it would be like a religious space. Again, they do provide Christian based classes and resources. I as an agnostic person, was never once made to feel like I needed to be religious to be here or get help.
I have said numerous times that I wish EVERYONE could come here to have the experience of feeling meaning and hopefulness. I can confidentially say that I would not be here to write this review without The Center's genuine desire to help me and everyone I was there with.Thursday 17th February 2022
