Peggy Collins5 StarI love living at Sandalwood because I can play the piano and explore the building. I also love the healing gardens. Everyone here is friendly, people are laughing, which is good. People are not sad. It is very clean here.Thursday 29th August 2019

Teri Nydegger1 StarMy father was admitted at this facility this past December after a stroke and because of their neglect he has been moved home to die. They didn't give his medications at the correct times, or even correctly, or even at all. I could write a book on the problems with the administration of the medications. They were also told at the beginning, of the importance of his water intake and that was ignored. Because of these problems he started to have seizures which they diagnosed as fainting spells. This was handled by putting him to bed and not treating him at all. Orders were written by the PA for changes to be made and ignored by the nurses. He stopped receiving PT even in bed because they were "afraid" of how he would react. I could go on and on but after 4 weeks of being ignored under the orders of "bed rest" we took him home with hospice to live out what was left of his life. Then there were the screw ups with paperwork. They lost the insurance papers, the medical power of Attorney and when it came time to go home they sent the wrong medical orders that determined whether he was to be resuscitated or not. We had to go back to the facility to demand the correct orders. I would NOT recommend this facility.Tuesday 26th January 2016
