Regular access to a physician or nurse practitioner, & registered and/or licensed practical nurses is a foundation of the TLC approach to care. Each patient will have a full medical history & physical examination, including bloodwork and urinalysis, upon admission and at least annually thereafter in addition to ongoing medical visits and evaluations for stability and improved health throughout the course of treatment. Individual and group substance use counseling are provided as a critical component of lasting recovery from mental and substance use disorders. The amount and type of counseling depends on the individual's diagnosis(es), history, and needs that influence their individualized and unique plan of comprehensive care. Individuals with opioid use disorder (OUD) may benefit from an FDA-approved medication for their substance use disorder as one part of their unique plan of comprehensive care. TLC is licensed to dispense all three (3) FDA-approved medications for OUD (methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone) onsite alongside a patient's comprehensive treatment services.

I don't usually do reviews but I feel that I owe it to TLC and my counselor Kendra to publicly praise them. I had just about given up when I tried TLC and they saved my life, I cannot believe that they are so understanding and never judgemental. My counselor has been my biggest supporter and she has taught me ways to cope with things that have been working for me. She always has been supportive and never critical. Everyone at TLC Maryville seems to sincerely care about you and they deserve to be recognized for the great treatment that they are giving to their patients I hope that they know how much they are appreciated and I will continue telling people that going there was the best decision I have ever made they are the best at what they do.

If you need opioid treatment I recommend TLC Maryville. They are friendly, courteous and t actually care about their patients. They also don't look down on people for being opioid addicts which is amazing. There is a stigma attached to people fighting addiction that is detrimental to recovery. The hard part of getting sober isn't just the physical aspect it's the mental and having a place I can get help and not feel judged is absolutely amazing. I'd like to thank everyone at TLC for everything, you are truly making a huge difference in so many lives

I have known and worked with the owners of TLC since shortly after they opened their doors in Maryville. There are three things that I would like to point out that I have observed after working with them since mid 2021. 1) They are VERY passionate about what they do (and that's an understatement)! They treat their patients with respect and care. When you hear them talk about substance abuse and all the nuances and history behind it, you can tell that they have a deep understanding of the subject and that they truly care about the people that are affected by substance abuse. 2) They take their patients' privacy extremely seriously! I have done work for many medical providers so I can tell you first hand that TLC has more physical, technical, and administrative safeguards in place to help protect the privacy of their patients than any other medical facility that I have done work for. And this is necessary since they are not only bound by HIPAA, but also 42 CFR part 2 (confidentiality of substance abuse disorder patient records). 3) The health of their patients and cleanliness of their facility is a top priority. TLC follows the current recommendations of the CDC in regards to Covid. They also have a professional company come in and clean their facility regularly. This is very apparent when you walk in the door. It is always clean. I am grateful to have met and worked with the owners of TLC. I think the work that they are doing for our community is extremely important! Their work is needed to help reverse the trend of substance abuse related deaths (which has substantially increased over the last few years). I hope that they continue to grow and open more facilities throughout our state to make treatment more readily available to those who need it.

Great staff. So friendly and welcoming. I really like my counselor. But theres one thing that really bothers me. And i dont get bothered. Much at all. Im very easy going. Im a patient there. And from day one ive been pushed and persuades to get one. Every couseling session he had told me i needed to get one. Doesnt even matter to them what i think. I DONT WANT IR. AND SO THEY ARE MAKING UT RO WHERE I HAVE TO GET ONE. The ones not vaccinated are meant to either pay $25 for a test at the clinic WEEKLY. or provide one themswlves WEEKLY. they have made it harder to NoT get vaccinated. They are pushing this vaccine on me and all the test of the clients. This ibfeel is not a part of their job.as i onerheard a owner of the TlC centsr said "we are a medical facility. So we vlieve it is our medical duty to make all of our cluents sfae.". I dont like ho wim being forced and ma denise e to get this shot. Not there place. matter why i dont want too.
