SHADOW PROGRAM
For individuals who continually struggle to grasp recovery, True Recovery offers an individualized shadow program.
This involves nearly constant interaction with and exposure to people in long-term recovery. The individual will spend their days in an recovery coaching environment, learning from years of first hand experience. The shadow program increases the individual’s accountability while reducing their toxicity to peers also in the residence.
The shadow program provides the individual with the unique experience of learning how to live without the use of drugs or alcohol while dealing with every day life.

Hope C5 StarI came to True Recovery RVA a couple years ago and it has truly turned my life around. The staff shows that they care about each participant and goes above and beyond to help anyone with anything they may need i.e counseling/psychiatrist appointments, setting up Medicaid, driving participants to appointments, providing groceries to those who aren’t as fortunate as others. Not to mention all of the emotional support I felt from everyone who works there. I was taught strong morals and values as well as how to be a better woman in every area of my life. I would recommend this recovery community organization to ANYONE who needed help.Sunday 29th November 2020
