Overall as I look back to when I was a troubled teenager there was one staff and one counselor. That was easy for me to talk to while I stayed at south cottage in 2014 and graduated. That would be the counselor at the time Miss Christine and mr. Jones. We were able to have a senior skip day if our grades and everything we're good.I enjoyed my senior skip day. I also remember telling my teachers I wanted to drop out but they motivated me to keep going and on it I thought they knew my potential. I graduated accepted into crowder college. I may have dropped my classes at crowder College but I am now a mom of 2 boys ,know my boundaries, sober, married and a medical assistant student and more or less got my life together. Thank you turnaround ranch

I struggled at first during my time here but I am a lot better and stronger because of all the staff that helped me. Mr. Jones always had my back. Mr. Jacob was an amazing therapist and helped me face a lot of my problems. Many other staff helped me with the tough times and I made a lot of friends with a lot of great people there. I highly recommend T.A.R.

I was placed here while waiting for foster care placement. The system is broken and sends trouble orphaned children to level 4 facilities where abuse and humiliation goes on. We weren’t allowed to wash our hands in the bathrooms. We had to count out toilet paper. I saw kids held down, denied family visits as punishment, bullied by staff etc. Huge amounts of abuse went on. Kids had been there for years with no chances of going home or living a normal life. There were times we didn’t go outside for days, weren’t allowed to attend school, etc. it was a horrifying and traumatizing experience. Any adult that can justify the treatment we went through is disgusting.
