I came here to detox, and this is not a safe place. There was no one available by phone or on site to order my a detox medication for the 1st 10 hours I was there. This is completely unheard of for a legitimate medical detox facility. People come to medical detox because there is a risk of seizures and death if you are trying to stop drinking alcohol or using certain medications. It's been almost a month since I left there and I'm still in shock at how poorly run this place was. They advertise it as a place where masks were required, the one time I was examined by a medical professional, a nurse practitioner. she was not wearing a mask, but she was also eating and not wearing gloves It was disgusting. Not only that the facilities were disgusting there was mold and mildew everywhere. I stayed in bed for about 4 days and the nurses or whoever they had running the day to day never bothered to wake me up to get my medication. It was so unsafe and there is no way this place deserves accreditation. I am currently exploring other avenues for filing a complaint because I have no doubt the negligence I witnessed could lead to somebody dying. I cannot overstate this, please do not send your loved ones here, they will not be in good hands.

Twin Lakes gave me the tools to start my sobriety. The staff is so passionate about recovery and giving patients the tools they need to make it when they leave. Best treatment in GA! I will forever recommend Twin Lakes and I am so grateful for everything they helped me figure out

I walked in the door completely broken. I hated myself for even needing to go to a treatment center. But going to Twin Lakes was the best thing I’ve EVER done for myself. The staff wants your recovery more than you do. They teach you about the disease and give you tools for sobriety. If you truly want to get sober this is the place. These people saved my life. There aren’t enough stars or words to express my gratitude.

I came to twin Lakes and of course you cannot expect comfortable beds or a good sleep and rehab. That would not be a fair expectation. But I got really sick and I left for a Covid test. When my husband picked me up I realized why would I go back when I have 102° fever? I cannot sleep there and that would not be responsible especially with Covid for me to be around people. So after my husband took me to the Covid test I emailed and called twice and asked if I could go home and recover and come back in a few days. I never had one call or email returned. Then when someone from corporate called me they apparently wanted me to come pick up my stuff and wouldn’t take me back. I needed rehab and was dedicated to come back when I felt better and they wouldn’t even take me back or return my calls. That is crazy!

very good facility they gave me the tools i needed and very supportive its not lake tahoa , but we were there for a reason for help the nursing staff was great and you stay very buisy with classas all day getting you back to a normal schedule . thank you Amanda and to all the staff and to my favorite nurse she know who she is .
