If there was a 0 star rating I wld but sadly only can make a 1 star!Which they don't allow us to make 0 stars.After waiting several months to finally get an apt w the psychiatrist they finally gave us a phone interview at 1030,fine so I pulled my son out of school an waited an waited.On voice mail said she wld call from a private number an after 1045 I called and they said she called but said my phone number doesn't allow blocked or restricted numbers so I called my phone provider and they said I csn...This place is a joke and we will not go to this location EVER again,now waiting for delphi to set us up w an apt. HOPEFULLY this one is better for us!

My daughter and I both go to Valley Oaks. We've had nothing but positive experiences with the therapists and with the girls at the front desk. I have not used their psychiatrist, so that I cannot vouch for. But all the people we've come into contact with there have been very helpful and pleasant. I'm thankful to have them so close to home!

More than once I have had to try to get a family member, who has been a patient of their for as long as I can remember, help. I am not a medical professional so I would call there looking for information on what i needed to do. I was not looking for patient information, which I clearly stated several times. I just needed to know where to take her because she was extremely disoriented and confused. They refused to even talk to me. I ended up calling a Sycamore Springs and they gave me the information I needed without hesitation. As I said in the beginning this has happened more than once. The 1st time they eventually helped, but only after going to center and refusing to leave without getting help.

Reliably unreliable. In 2017 it took them 2 months to get me in for my 'intake appointment' which was literally just me filling out a piece of paper and handing it to a receptionist. Bounced me around for six months, cancelling and rescheduling my first appointment with a therapist seven times before I ended up having a mental breakdown due to the issues I was trying to get resolved and lost my job and almost my family. They're a three minute drive from me, but I drive all the way to Rennsalaer now, instead.

Be carefull with this place. They over tranquilized my younger brother with Haldol injections in 2006 and it killed him. They called it a heart attack but it heart actually stopped due to overdose of Haldol. I'd give them a minis 1 star if I could.
