Providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient therapy

With a vision to anticipate the expectations and needs of each individual and to assist them in reaching their goals, Ascension Via Christi Rehabilitation Hospital serves patients in regaining their functional independence following a major illness, trauma or surgery. We offer two locations in Wichita — on the east side at the Rehabilitation Hospital, 1151 N Rock Road, and the west side at Ascension Via Christi St. Teresa, 14800 W. St. Teresa.

The specialized facility offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient therapy for children, including toddlers, and adults, and provides rehabilitation treatmentfor stroke, spinal cord injuries, limb loss, orthopedic issues and brain injuries.

The hospital's interdisciplinary team draws on a long tradition of rehabilitation expertise to maximize person's ability to function at home and in the community. Individualized therapy programs consisting of at least three hours of therapy per day are offered. A comprehensive range of medical services are provided, including full-time physician supervision.
