At Wellness Resource Center, we offer a unique treatment experience designed to meet you where you are in your recovery journey. Our phased approach allows you to progress through the recovery process at your own pace. In Phase I, you’ll take part in treatment full time in our partial hospitalization program for at least 28 days, stepping down to part-time treatment in our intensive outpatient program in Phase II only when the time is right for you. The minimum length of stay in Phase II is typically 60 days, but we can extend your stay until you achieve your recovery goals. At any point in this process, you may transition to a sober living facility or return home if either of those options best fits your needs. The best part of the program were the clients, housing, and techs. Facilitator/Therapist Evan and Ms. Hester were amazing and helpful in my progress as well, but unfortunately, neither individual was my therapist. I had to request to see another therapist after my lack of progress. Upon discharge, I did not receive any post-care suggestions. My discharge paperwork was never finished. The program is not mental health focused as I was sold and misled. The program is completely addiction focused, with AA as the foundation, and sprinkles of mental health oriented. I witnessed 5-10 new clients AMA within their first week, knowing this program wasn’t going to suit their needs. For someone that struggles to advocate for themselves, I should not have had to consistently advocate just to receive what I was already promised before coming to WRC. If mental health is your main focus, I would strongly recommended you find another facility. If addiction is your focus and this is your first stop post-detox, the program is better suited for your needs.

This is where I would send my kids if they needed help. Actually, this is where I would want to go if I needed help. Amazing staff, beautiful apartments, real recovery and real groups. The therapists are passionate and the clinical director Gary is amazing. If there is a medication need, Dr. Pevney works MIRACLES! I am someone in recovery myself, and a former employee of wellness. If you are ready, you will not regret going to WRC. No matter who you are or what you believe in, there is someone at wellness that can help you.

This was one of the worst treatment centers I have been to. It felt like all they cared about was the money not the client. If you had good insurance they wanted to keep you as long as they could. Some of the staff members were rude to clients and should not be working in a treatment center that claims to focus on mental health as one of its main treatment areas. My therapist Jill K was awful. She was on her cell phone almost all of our individual sessions, I had to ask her multiple times to give me assignments (she should have been doing that as the therapist), she was lazy, never engaged in our conversations, she always acted like she didn't want to be working, never had anything planned for case load, and gave me a generic treatment plan not even an individualized one. The clinical director Garry doesn't seem to care about the clients needs either, it really felt like I was just another number to this treatment center. Dr. M is a great therapist, the techs Felicia, Lashandra, and Steve were great! The apartments were you live are nice. However, this facility overall was a disappointment.

My son arrived at the wellness center on Thursday and I had a great conversation with a lady named Sam. Exciting and looking forward to all the services they provide. Hopefully this will help my son regain his life. I will post again as the journey continues. So far very impressed. Looking forward to further communication!
