My stepfather was admitted to West Gables from the VA for rehabilitation. He required maximum assistance in bed mobility, transfers and gait with a rolling walker. After two months at West Gables, he has shown tremendous improvement and only requires minimum assistance. I am extremely grateful to the administrators, nursing staff and therapists for everything that they have done for him. Soon he will be able to resume his normal life.

This place is fabulous they are caring, very clean. I was worried leaving my 94 yr old mother for extended rehab with the history most places have but not here. Totally happy and no it’s not a luxury hotel but it’s clean and neat and staff is attentive and that’s what matters.

My father was there for a couple months. When he arrived, he could barely pay attention to everything that was around him. But the high quality of care from the nurses, medical team, social workers, and other employees helped him recover and feel better. For example, the kindness and patience of the team convinced him to cooperate with physical therapy, even though he didn’t want to exercise at first. Also, he didn’t want to eat, but they were patient and worked with him to ensure he got the needed nutrition. I visited him twice daily for over two months, which means I saw both the daytime and the evening staff. Both were amazing. This is the second or third time I have chosen this rehab center for my family, because we have always experienced good care from this facility. I specifically want to thank the following people: Admissions: Josie and Mike Case Manager: Rosalba and Norma Nurses: Martha R., Odalys A., Doris R., Milena G. Even when my father was released, I had everything ready to go, thanks to the staff that prepared the prescriptions and home care information for him. They don’t just send you home with nothing, but let you know how you can maintain in the future.

I recommend this facility! Nursing staff was very good in fact I'd like to take 1-2 to my house for assistance! Onivia, Odalis, Maria and Oasis we're very nice and sweet and caring! It was a pleasure to come to this facility and find these two nurses that helped me with my healing journey. Therapy was good! The great care that was provided was ongoing from beginning to end.

The staff is caring and knowledgeable. Had my family member at other facilities in the past and West Gables Health Care has been the best.
