Many years ago I did out patient..Donaldson was counselor. Very good at his job. He helped me by making me realize how many people get hurt because of my drug use....Ive never relapsed. Thank you!

I called to get my brother into treatment and ask about the process. I'm new to the process and have no idea where to start. I called turning point to get help and the woman on the phone was very short with me and gave me very little information. I called back to ask again for more information and she seemed upset that I called back. As with most addicts if they express a desire to get help it has to happen as soon as possible before they back out. Turning Point, for me, wasnt of any help. The information the woman gave me said that first they have you do an application and financial statement and then you have to wait several weeks before they can do a chemical dependency evaluation. Then several more weeks for a bed. This isn't the place to call if you're seeking answers or help. Its upsetting because there are so many people who need help.
