I came to Westwind in 2017 after years of homelessness and failed attempts at recovery. I immediately felt welcomed and accepted into the community, and was shown how amazing recovery can really be. I just wanted to give a shout out to Westwind for helping me get my life back. I’d like to share some of my experiences with everyone who’s willing to listen. First and foremost I’d like to thank my therapist DR. Deena she helped me mold into the man I am today. I never thought I could stay sober for even a day. This program taught me how to live a so called normal life. I am forever grateful for the people I met and the people that held my hand when I needed it the most. I just picked up a year sober and it’s the first time ever that I’ve been able to stand strong long enough to actually make and impact. I give this recovery a double thumbs up. The staff deserve some love too. The staff here has helped me move forward and stop looking back in the rear view mirror and start looking forward to the future. I highly recommend this recovery home and highly implore anyone seeking help to actually come and get it

I would recommend this program over any program I have been to, the Staff is loving and kind, they go out of their way to help you with any issue. They have excellent groups, with topics to help you in your Sobriety. The residential housing is excellent, modern and has what you need to help you stay sober. There are Excellent Doctors and Therapist to help heal your body. I am very Grateful to have been here for treatment, they have literally help save my life from utter despair . So if you are in need of a loving place to get sober and gain the tools to stay sober, don’t hesitate call them

Westwind Recovery has been a huge part of my journey in recovery. Through this program I have been able to learn proper communication, emotional regulation, how to allow myself to feel, and truly how to be okay with me. With Westwind’s program along side the program of Alcoholics Anonymous I am remaining teachable, growing spiritually, and creating a life that I WANT to live and be a part of. I came to this program directly out of a coma and instantly was able to start my trajectory toward a positive future…as with all programs: you get out what you put in. I’ve always felt safe, heard, and understood even in some of my toughest moments. I just wanted to highlight the benefits of being a part of this program, thankfully I have been willing enough to do anything different than I was doing before.

WestWind is a top notch facility and the perfect place to start your sober journey. I appreciated how they encouraged the 12 step based program which I feel is at the heart of recovery. But also didn’t overwhelm you with it. It was a solid experience!

I came to Westwind Recovery broken and lost. The clinical team, therapist’s and staff have changed my life in ways I never thought possible. The daily groups have taught me the skills I need to live a healthy lifestyle. Westwind is a family and I’m thankful to be a part of it.
