Why Rehab Doesn’t Work

Inpatient (rehab) treatment programs have an alarmingly low success rate for those struggling to overcome addiction. They also charge alarmingly high prices. Our medical outpatient addiction clinic is different.

Rehabs too often rush the detox process and attempt to correct mental and emotional behaviors BEFORE the addict’s brain has the chance to repair its wiring. Inpatient facilities ignore this basic medical issue: an addict’s brain simply isn’t ready to change the behavior that led them into addiction. Rehab patients all too often become a revolving door commodity.

The scientific truth is that long-term addiction causes the brain to rewire itself, making it virtually impossible for the addict to “just stop drinking” or to “just stop taking pills.” Addiction is not a moral failure; it is a medical condition.

Rehabs have only a 7-10% sobriety success rate after an average of five treatments.

White Tree has an incredible 84% success rate in helping addicts reach sobriety after their first treatment program.

HOW? Eight out of ten White Tree patients experience little to no withdrawal symptoms. White Tree addresses the medical conditions within the brain first, through an individualized, tapering detox program.

Good staff, sober 11 days so far! No real withdraw symptoms, I've felt really good about my new life without alcohol! Be aware, this is recovery, your success is your choice. They will not be holding your hand All day everyday. The nurses and doctors will tell you in no uncertain terms if you are failing. I wanted this, I worked hard on it and I thank white tree medical for helping me on this path!

Sometimes it’s fast, sometimes it takes up to two hours for an all together 5 or less minute visit. (Emphasize on or less) because maybe it’s 30 seconds for case worker and 30 seconds for the doctor, which I don’t hate after sitting in the waiting room for hours. They often get my prescription wrong and forget things. But they take my insurance, but once it changes and other places open to me. I don’t see myself continuing here. It’s not a bad clinic or anything.. but it’s my least favorite of all the ones I’ve been to. They once put me with a doctor that didn’t take my insurance that I had to pay for by their in discrepancy. Anyway it provides a service that I need, so I use it and it gets the job done. But it’s never a smooth experience. This is an update, today I saw a new doctor that I’ve never seen before, it was a woman for the first time and I actually really liked her. She was straight to the point but felt a little bit more interpersonal. So I already left a review so I’d probably give them another star just based on the fact that I did like her and would probably choose to see her again, Where before I was just going to this place because my insurance. I would be more inclined to go back because I just liked this doctor a lot better. I don’t know her name but she’s in the first office and has an accent. Plus I was only there today for about 30 minutes, Unlike my typical two hour visits. I really hope I get to see her next time, if she’s not in I’ll probably try and schedule for a day that she is. At that point may be able to give them a four star review instead of two.

I went to this location for COVID 19 testing, and it’s been absolutely ridiculous. It took them 2.5 hours to get through the 6 cars in front of me. They then promised the results within 24-48 hours. In fact, they even had a nurse video call me after the test who said she hasn’t seen any results go past 24 hrs. Well, it’s now been 4 days since the test, and I still haven’t gotten results. I called and chatted with a nurse, who blames the latency on ‘the lab’, saying ‘we did our job. So it’s not our fault’. Sorry to break it to ya babe, but I don’t see the lab as a separate entity from you. YOU should be following up with the lab if the results aren’t getting back in. When I called to follow up when they first opened, she said to call her back in a few hours. After calling back, this SAME girl answered the phone and said that she has been busy, but had some ‘cool news’ that she was able to delegate people working on getting the test results, and I should get the results ‘as soon as possible’….whatever that means… If I had known it would be such a circus, I would have gone someplace else. Figured people should know about my experience.

This program was everything I needed! If you're anything like me, cleaning up can be super confusing, and the doctor & nurses were more than willing to explain anything I didin't fully understand. They were more than willing to slow down the process if I needed to, or prescribe me alternative meds (non-narcotics), anything to help me be more comfortable through the process. Yes, morning appointments can drag on longer than you'd like, but just remember that everyone else is there for the same reason you are and everyone deserves the same level of care. Get there early if you're bugged by it! I highly recommend White Tree Medical, it was far and away the best experience I've had in this kind of medical settings - they initially got me in the day after I called for information, which was a huge relief. Call them!
