The quality and experience of Willow Tree's professional staff is second to none. The clinical team has in excess of 100 years collective therapeutic and medical experience anchored by a seasoned Clinical Director and Medical Director with a psychiatric specialty. Willow Tree has also achieved “Joint Commission” accreditation, the most prestigious recognition obtainable for healthcare providers. At Willow Tree we believe that discharge planning starts on the day of admission. During the course of treatment residents will develop a personalized discharge plan specifically designed for the unique circumstances of each resident. The plan will thoroughly address relapse prevention, outpatient recommendations and transitional living options. Substantial emphasis is placed on the Aftercare component of discharge planning. Lifetime weekly Aftercare is available to all residents who successfully complete their program. Willow Tree is a "Joint Commission" accredited facility, the most prestigious recognition obtainable for healthcare providers. "With Joint Commission accreditation we are making a significant investment in quality of care from the top down. Achieving this standard of excellence provides Willow Tree a framework in maintaining the 'Gold Standard' in healthcare delivery."– Jacob Forsyth, Administrative Director Comfort, serenity, and confidentiality are principal components of successful residential treatment. Willow Tree is located at the base of the Wasatch Mountains in Central Utah. Willow Tree offers a unique setting for those seeking relief from the devastating consequences of alcohol and drug addiction. Most residential treatment facilities are remodeled personal homes. Willow Tree is somewhat unique in that it is a new facility specifically designed and constructed to accommodate a small mixed gender community in a serene, private and confidential setting. Many facilities, especially large national and regional treatment centers, provide an adequate but institutionalized environment. We believe that residential should mean “residential”. In essence, Willow Tree feels like home. A well balanced and intensive treatment curriculum is essential for successful long term recovery. Our residential treatment program includes comprehensive clinical assessments, group therapy, extensive individual counseling, family counseling, addiction centered education and relapse prevention. The methods for overcoming addiction are just as unique as the individual. There is no single or mystical solution to the problem. The answer to breaking the addictive cycle is discovering the unique conditions that “trigger” the alcoholic/addict to use drinking or drugs as a means of coping with the daily stress related aspects of life. At Willow Tree we understand the unique and individual nature of recovery and tailor treatment to the needs and circumstances of each individual resident. Mission Statement Willow Tree Recovery embraces the concept that alcoholism and drug addiction are chronic and progressive diseases. Left untreated both disorders destroy lives and often lead to a fatal conclusion. At Willow Tree we believe in treating the complete individual. Willow Tree will focus on a resident’s physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. Our objective is to offer our clients a safe, secure and healing environment contributing to life-long recovery in harmony with society. Well Balanced A well balanced and intensive treatment curriculum is essential for successful long term recovery. Our residential treatment program includes comprehensive clinical assessments, group therapy, extensive individual counseling, family counseling, addiction centered education and relapse prevention. Affordable Cost of treatment is always a consideration for those contemplating residential treatment. However, cost should always be measured against the collective value of the treatment received. The cost of treatment may vary based on individual programming needs, treatment plan and length of stay. Willow Tree is dedicated to the concept of providing a cost-effective treatment program without sacrificing the quality of care that families in distress need and expect. During your initial contact with Willow Tree an experienced admission specialist will discuss cost of treatment to include insurance options. Willow Tree does accept insurance from most insurance providers and we also accept most major credit cards. Treatment At Willow Tree we believe that every individual who suffers from substance addiction has value and unlimited potential. By breaking the cycle of addiction and maintaining pro-longed sobriety an individual can literally be set free to pursue a fulfilling and productive life without being bound by the restrictive chains of addiction. The Willow Tree The Willow tree represents healing properties that date to the time of Hippocrates (400 BC). Patients were advised to chew on the bark to reduce such conditions as pain, fever and inflammation. Our Willow Tree, located at the front entrance, is more than 100 years old and is symbolic of the healing process available to those inside. Environment Willow Tree is a 16 client, adult, mixed gender facility specifically licensed for the treatment of drug and alcohol dependence and co-occuring mental health disorders (dual diagnosis). In-patient treatment allows an individual the opportunity to place their life in someone else’s care, at least for a period of time. Our facility provides a safe environment where clients will be in the presence of others experiencing similar consequences of addiction. Our Philosophy At Willow Tree there are no moral judgments regarding addiction. At some point there may have been some poor decisions, however when one reaches the residential level of care it is substantially beyond a poor choice. It is no more and no less than a serious disease and needs to be treated as such. We do not believe there is a “one size fits all” approach to treatment. Everyone has their own unique personal history from childhood through adolescence and into adulthood. Substance addiction is an element of personal history; therefore treatment should be individualized to the resident. Looking for More Information? "When I entered Willow Tree I was confused, afraid and full of anxiety. Within several hours I felt at home. The facility is warm, comfortable and friendly. Within a week or ten days I felt my life was becoming manageable again. The emphasis on diet and exercise helped me regain my physical strength and the group and individual therapy sessions were so meaningful in helping me understand who I am and how to be successful in society without the need for drugs or alcohol." "For the first time in a long time I am sober. I was at a point in my life where I never imagined it possible to have several continuous months of sobriety. I have been able to start the healing process with my family and we are making progress. I can have an intelligent conversation and remember what was discussed. I have come to understand the disease of addiction and the need to embrace recovery one day at a time. I am so thankful circumstances brought me to Willow Tree. Every aspect of my individual treatment plan fit my needs exactly. My sincere thanks to everyone who helped me find my way back to a life I had lost and never thought I could regain again." "When I came to Willow Tree my life was totally out of control. I was a broken person. In the course of a few short months I had lost everything; my dignity, self-respect, self-confidence and most of all the respect of my family. To say that Willow Tree changed my life would be a huge understatement. I came here with nothing and left with everything I had lost and more. Willow Tree literally saved my life and gave me the knowledge and skills necessary to master my disease and move forward with sobriety."

This facility has not given the family any information. They allowed my niece to commit suicide on their campus and took hours to find her.

Willow Tree is a first rate program from its ownership to its frontline staff. There are a lot treatment options these days, but there few hold a flame to Willow Tree’s standard.

My experience at Willow Tree was top notch and unlike anything I had received at other treatment centers across the country. The smaller occupancy size allows one's stay to be catered to their individual needs as opposed to the more common one-size-fits-all approach in treatment. The clinical staff is phenomenal and well rounded in their styles and philosophies. While the group and individual therapy sessions are intensive, the program incorporates a good mix of other activities and experiences that highlight the type of life that is possible for a person in recovery. I'm extremely grateful for my time at Willow Tree, and I'd recommend their program to anyone seeking treatment for substance abuse and the underlying issues that often accompany it.

I had an excellent experience at Willow Tree receiving help for alcoholism. The staff was incredible, the facility was clean and comfortable, and the administrative staff did wonders with my insurance company so that the whole experience was possible. I was nervous about going to treatment, but I couldn't be happier that I did, and Willow Tree exceeded my hopes and expectations. Thank you, Willow Tree, for all the help, friendships, guidance, support, and for my sobriety!
